Nestled in the pines near the historic town if Anderson, Texas, centrally located between Dallas/Forth Worth, Houston and Austin, our quiet and serene Pine Needle Retreat welcomes you with a 4,300 square foot event center and two beautifully restored old homes of the 1800s.

Growing up in the area next to my wonderful grandparents, our family, friends, and extended family visited often. Family gatherings and reunions allowed us the opportunity to share treasured stories and traditions where celebrating each other was the highlight of making new memories.

Inspired by that love of family and friends, we have created Pine Needle Retreat to continue to build community, connection, and creativity for you, your family, and friends. We provide a welcoming space for imaginative creators to share their talents, including retreats such as quilting, scrapbooking, family reunions, Bible study groups, and so much more.

One of the two restored homes was built in 1870 and moved from downtown Anderson. You can take a step back in time in this unique more intimate setting, as we have incorporated these gems into the retreat facility. Each building is ready to accommodate overnight guests. We have hosted our own family reunions, graduation, engagement parties, and celebrated holidays in these beautiful homes, and we hope you can also make many fond memories of your stay.
